Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Prefer applicant to be ARRT (R) registered and Kentucky State certified.
  • CPR certification or obtains within six months of employment
• Experience:

Job Description:

• Perform quality radiographs under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Radiologists.

• Must be able to lift patients, push portables, work under stress, make independent judgments and deal professionally with others.

• Responsible for assuring that services are provided in a manner that is consistent with Ohio County Hospital policies, procedures and the purpose, vision, and values.

• Must be able to take vital signs and provide basic first aide if needed.

• Must be able to perform venipuncture and utilize appropriate techniques.

• Must be able to assist the radiologist with injections during various radiology procedures as needed.

• Must be able to perform surgical radiographs as needed following all surgical techniques and methods.

• If necessary will be scheduled to perform x-rays at off-site clinics.

• Adheres to legal compliance and other regulatory policies.
