Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Preferred 1 year of medical office experience
• Additional Requirements:
  • Phone Skills,
  • Insurance Verification,
  • Collections,
  • Data Entry,
  • Minimum 6 months of prior healthcare experience or at least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Training in the Family Care Clinics in Hartford/Beaver Dam will be required

Job Description:

• Greeting patients

• Scheduling appointments

• Answering phone calls

• Verifying insurance information

• Collecting co-payments

• Assisting patients with any questions they may have about their treatment or services.

• Updating patient records accurately

• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information

• Ensuring that patients have a positive experience during their visit.

• May also be responsible for handling patient complaints or concerns and escalating them to the appropriate supervisor or manager when necessary.
