Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: Preferred 1 year.

Job Description:

  • The Phlebotomy Coordinator will work with the laboratory leadership to gather information regarding the training, competencies, education of all phlebotomy and CLIA waived testing personnel.

  • Additional duties will include assisting the Laboratory Leadership to implement necessary corrective action plans for issues that may arise within the clinic’s laboratory and waived testing personnel, ensure compliance of all regulatory standards, ensure documentation of compliance is documented, and any other duties assigned by leadership.

  • Must maintain all phlebotomy skills, DOT certification, train the trainer certification, and competency.

  • Will work in each clinic to help understand the unique workflow and challenges to facilitate needed support for laboratory services.

  • Responsible for assuring that services are provided in a manner that is consistent with Ohio County Healthcare policies and procedures and the Purpose, Vision, and Values.
