Qualifications:

• Education: Master's & current licensure as an APRN
• Experience: 2 years of general APRN experience preferred
• Additional requirements / comments / education / experience / skills, registration, or certification:
  • DEA Certified, BLS Certified;
  • Preferred: ACLS and DOT Certification but may obtain within 90 days

Job Description:

1. Conducting physical examinations and medical evaluations of patients.

2. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.

3. Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions and illnesses.

4. Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.

5. Prescribing medications and other treatment regimens.

6. Providing counseling and education to patients and their families.

7. Performing minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care.

8. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

9. Monitoring and managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension.

10. Promoting disease prevention and health promotion through patient education.

11. Participating in research studies and staying up-to-date with advancements in healthcare.

12. Supervising and guiding other healthcare staff, such as registered nurses and medical assistants.

13. Leading and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

14. Adhering to legal and ethical standards in patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.

15. Documenting patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
